Details
I haven't been able to find a set of steps to reproduce consistently. It seems to happen at random times. Sometimes when entering VR the buffer presented in the headset has a very low resolution resulting in a pixelated image. A refresh of the page seems to solve it. I saw it happen with many of the aframe.io examples.

Could you please re-test now that we have changed the way frames are captured from the Canvas? This may have been fixed by Bug 1400457's patch which has just landed.

Closing.. The code involved has been rewritten since this bug was first reported, and I haven't seen further reports of the issue. Please feel free to re-open and/or NI me if this is still affecting you.
