Hi, There are three new test pilot experiments launching soon and I'd like to get them in GA. Firefox Send: Purely a website (no add-on although we might add one later). Domains: https://send.dev.mozaws.net/ https://send.stage.mozaws.net/ [still negotiating the final domain with product & ops] Firefox Notes: This is 100% an add-on Voice Fill: This is 100% an add-on

Sounds like that will be https://send.firefox.com/
Hi Will, Please use the following IDs. Please let me know if you have any issues. Firefox Send: UA-35433268-78 Firefox Notes: UA-35433268-79 Voice Fill: UA-35433268-80 How should I configure the GA views to filter for dev, stage, and production data sets? I don't see anything in the doc about that. Thanks, PG

I think dev/stage/prod all use different GA IDs in our other projects. We probably don't need them for notes and voice fill here though.

I've added some comments to the git doc with my recommendation for how we could resolve this. https://github.com/mozilla/notes/compare/master...peterGerman:patch-1

Is there a reason not to use separate IDs? It's been working fine up until now.

Yes, when you configure custom dimensions and metrics, you do it once, as opposed to three times, and they'll never be out of sync.

I don't see these new IDs in GA. Is granting permissions to view them a separate step? Would you make sure wclouser@m.c and jgruen@m.c have access? I'll talk to Chuck about doing the dev/stage/prod identification. We don't need them right now.

Access = Done. Some one will need to make configurations for your custom metrics and dimensions as well. Is that something you'd like us to help with or are you going to take care of it?

Chuck already added the custom dimensions as well as a dev/stage/prod flag @ https://github.com/mozilla/testpilot/blob/master/docs/experiments/ga.md#global-custom-dimensionsmetrics I think we're good here.
