1381077 - Automigration either imports nothing or does not import saved logins from Chrome on Ubuntu 16.04 x64 & Mac 10.12.

STR:

1. Open Nightly with a new profile
2. Open a new tab
3. Click "Ok, Got it"

Expected:

The "Your Top Sites" pins/history is still populated from your default browser (Chrome)
The bookmark bar is still populated from your default browser (Chrome)
The saved logins is still populated from your default browser (Chrome)

Actual:

The "Your Top Sites" pins/history is updated to the firefox default
The bookmark bar is updated to the firefox default
The saved logins are empty

or

The "Your Top Sites" pins/history is still populated from your default browser (Chrome)
The bookmark bar is still populated from your default browser (Chrome)
The saved logins are empty

This happens on Ubuntu 16.04 and Mac 10.12

Hi Justin,

What is the "Ok, Got it" clicked?

In fact we are not doing auto-migration at this time though we have done some bugs for it before.
The meta bug, Bug 1361283, for that is a P3.

It would be no good if saw some feature of automigration was out there.
Otherwise, we are leaking something which should be pref-off out there.

So we would like to know what "Ok, Got it" clicked is, thanks.

Ok. what does bug 1361286 deal with then? I was assuming this has to do with the automigration function.

bug 1361286 is intent for automigration, but now it is not in scope of v56/57.

In stead, there will be a message in activity-stream page to manual import bookmarks, 
which is tracked in 
https://github.com/mozilla/activity-stream/issues/2787
