Steps to reproduce:

open: about:preferences#advanced

click back and forth in the 5 tabs shown


Actual results:

(firefox:31065): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_clipboard_set_with_data: assertion 'targets != NULL' failed

std error noise -- it changes, but emits noise which should be 'quelled'

not disabling


Expected results:

a well behaved application runs without stderr noise leakage, and asserts should be handled (duh)

The noise which should be 'quelled' with the error 'caught' and as relevant handled
