138355 - Old modern skin in moz 1.0rc1 ??

I just upgraded to Mozilla 1.0rc1 and i noticed that the Modern skin is outdated.
When i try to switch to it from the Pinball skin, i get:

"You have selected an outdated theme which is incompatible with your current
Mozilla version... press OK to remove..."

I pressed ok but the outdated skin is still there, even after restarting mozilla!

Also, i noticed dynamic theme switching has been disabled once again!
How come we can't add that as a feature in Theme prefrences??

Can you try a new profile ?
Run "mozilla -profilemanager" and create an additional test profile.

You can also delete/move away all files in Profile/Chrome

i tried to load the modern theme using a new profile but the same bug occurs.
I checked in profiles/chrome and i found modern.jar but i don't think it's up to
date!  modern.jar is 534KB and was created on November 22, 2001 6:50:28 PM
However, this is the same creation date as classic.jar.

Do you have modern.jar and classic.jar in cour Profile/../chrome directory ?
Please delete/move this files.

There is no classic.jar nor modern.jar in profiles...chrome
I tried moving modern.jar in Mozilla ... chrome and it still didn't work!
The preview pic didn't appear when i selected the skin however but it was still
listed as being incompatible.

Can you please do this:

Uninstall mozilla, delete all files that the uninstaller had not deleted (but
save your plugins folder) and reinstall mozilla ?

Sorry about the delay...

I tried moving files around and restarting to see what would happen and noticed
that a few chrome related config files weren't updated during the install (still
had old filedates).  Finally, i just decided to uninstall and delete all the
files in the Mozilla directory and reinstall.  Everything works OK now so bug
was caused by the installer not updating all files to 1.0rc1
