Steps to reproduce:

I want to upload a file in a XING group which resulst in an endless spinning loading icon. 


Actual results:

Image cannot be uploaded. Only if the image is placed by drag & drop. This error already appeared in FF 48 and had been resolved. Now the bug is there again. This is the link to the previous bug message

Expected results:

It should be able to upload images through file upload

Can you provide exact reproduction steps?
what's the URL of the page that the issue happens, and what operations (mouse click, keyboard, etc) do you do on the page to see the issue?

Xing is a social network and in XING groups you may upload photos. Now photo upload does not work (it results in an spinning loading icon). If the image is placed by drag & drop it will be uploaded fine. The same error appeared some time ago in the previous bug message I posted above. You may check it if you login in Xing and try uploading an image in a group. For example here: https://www.xing.com/communities/posts/bilder-hochladen-nicht-moeglich-1011990792

Hi Justin, thanks for asking. Just today I have found the culprit. The reason for the upload not working was the google analytics opt out addon https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
As soon as I deactivated this addon image upload worked again.

Going to wontfix for Firefox.  File an issue against that addon if it's still important to you?
