This was always hacky, and is causing failures in automation. Rather than increase the arbitrary chosen timeout it seems better to just solve it correctly (I can't recall why it wasn't solved more appropriately to begin with, but I suspect I just wasn't confident about the order with which TPS initializes). Patch incoming.
