If you select a newsgroup on the list at the left and then right click on
another group in the list and click Mark as Read, the highlight bar jumps back
to the first group clicked and doesn't set the right clicked group as read.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a newsgroup
2. Right Click another group in the same list
3. Select Mark as Read
Actual Results: The highlight bar jumps back to the first group and doesn't set
the right clicked group to read
Expected Results: The right clicked group should at least have been set to
read, and the bar ought to have moved to the new group
Correction in the expected result: yes, the right clicked group should be set to
'read', but the highlighting comes back to the first group.
I checked other menu items: they work for the right mouse click selected group
as expected, but Mark as Read marks 'Read' on the first group.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Summary: right click and mark as read on newsgroup not selected does not work → right click and mark as read on newsgroup not selected does not work
That's because it is operating on the group which is still selected, the right
click doesn't select the group. Also, the mark newsgroup as read command has not
yet been implemented to mark without downloading. So if you really select/open
the newsgroup it will work to mark as read on that group.
