What feature should be changed? Please provide the URL of the feature if possible.
==================================================================================
The nav bar on the top > the search button

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web

All the top-level nav buttons have a huge hit area in this redesign, but the search button is only the width of the icon. I never use the top-level nav, but I do use the search.

What problems would this solve?
===============================
The problem is that the user comes to expect easy-to-click buttons when using the other elements on the nav bar, and there are a lot of wasted taps/clicks to hit the search bar, which is in my opinion the most useful feature.

Who would use this?
===================
Everyone who wants to search for something on MDN

What would users see?
=====================
Everyone

What would users do? What would happen as a result?
===================================================
Users would be able to click close to the search button at the same padding level as the other nearby buttons/links to open the search form.

Is there anything else we should know?
======================================
Sorry about that. Thanks for filing a bug!
