Add GDCA Trust
AUTH R5 ROOT certificate to NSS
This bug requests inclusion in the NSS root store of the following root certificate owned by Global Digital Cybersecurity Authority Co., Ltd. (Formerly Guang Dong Certificate Authority (GDCA)). Friendly Name: GDCA TrustAUTH R5 ROOT Cert Location: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=8748933 https://www.gdca.com.cn/cert/GDCA_TrustAUTH_R5_ROOT.der SHA-1 Fingerprint: 0F:36:38:5B:81:1A:25:C3:9B:31:4E:83:CA:E9:34:66:70:CC:74:B4 SHA-256 Fingerprint: BF:FF:8F:D0:44:33:48:7D:6A:8A:A6:0C:1A:29:76:7A:9F:C2:BB:B0:5E:42:0F:71:3A:13:B9:92:89:1D:38:93 Trust Flags: Websites Test URL: https://ev-ssl-test-1.95105813.cn/ This CA has been assessed in accordance with the Mozilla project guidelines, and the certificates approved for inclusion in bug #1128392. The next steps are as follows: 1) A representative of the CA must confirm that all the data in this bug is correct, and that the correct certificates have been attached. 2) A Mozilla representative creates a patch with the new certificate, and provides a special test version of Firefox. 3) A representative of the CA uses the test version of Firefox to confirm (by adding a comment in this bug) that the certificate has been correctly imported and that websites work correctly. 4) The Mozilla representative requests that another Mozilla representative review the patch. 5) The Mozilla representative adds (commits) the patch to NSS, then closes this bug as RESOLVED FIXED. 6) At some time after that, various Mozilla products will move to using a version of NSS which contains the certificate. This process is mostly under the control of the release drivers for those products.
Mr. ZHANG Yongqiang or Ms. WANG Shengnan, Please see step #1 above.
We confirm that all the data in this bug is correct, and that the certificate attached is also correct.
Thanks for confirming that the data in this bug is correct. Root inclusions are usually grouped and done as a batch when there is either a large enough set of changes or about every 3 months. At some point in the next 3 months a test build will be provided and this bug will be updated to request that you test it. Since you are cc'd on this bug, you will get notification via email when that happens.
Hi Kathleen, Many thanks for your reply. We shall pay close attention to the updates in the bug and our emails.
