Steps to reproduce:

Intermittent breaks are detected in the 55.0b13 mac version.
For example, when you scroll, you have momentary freezing.

I have been using all versions of alpha and beta since 55.0a.
First experience at b13. I've tried restarting and rebooting all over again, but I still have the same problem.
So I downgrade to b12 and the problem is gone.
Was it affected by the changes in b13?
I am very worried. If the changes are positive, then you have to be accompanied by another bug ...

I've tested the reported issue on OS X 10.12 using Beta 55.0b13 and I was able to observe some intermittent breaks while scrolling a long page. However I've noticed a improved behavior using 55.0 RC (latest update for 55.0b13). Please, could you try to update to the latest Beta build and check whether you can still see the issue ? When doing this, please use a new clean Firefox profile, maybe even safe mode, to eliminate custom settings as a possible cause (https://goo.gl/PNe90E).
