See screenshot. The progressbar shown while downloading is blurry, and have a strange white background.

(For comparison, the progress bar shown with Safari. Although that's over the Downloads folder, not the app icon.)

((This is probably a Cocoa widget bug?))

Shows the download progress bar UI that appears over the Firefox logo on macOS when downloading a file.

Seeing this always makes Firefox look out of place and non-native on Mac. It would be great to have this resolved and fix the hole in the UI. Thanks for reporting @Justin

I think we should simply use a clear background color, instead of white. I can confirm that this looks significantly better. Will attach a screenshot shortly.
