Steps to reproduce:
logged onto administrator, uninstalled. Ran FF, set as default, re-installed Nightly.
Observed Nightly icon auto-pin to taskbar (FF already pinned).
Actual results:
Well, not sure if a bug or feature. Thought it'd be worth mentioning just in case it's not intentional, as Nightly could be reading FF registry keys to be pinning itself there.

It's a bug, because Nightly uses the same user profile as the regular Firefox installation for now. This will be fixed in Bug 1373244 (so marking as a duplicate.)
