I just upgraded Mozilla Build 11042002xyz to the actual 1.0RC1 version. As
usual, I install in the same folder as the previous version was located. Now my
mailbox is messed up:
- the subjects of some mails are lost
- instead the most recent new e-mail is displayed, I just find a blank line
without anything to be selected.

Expected Results:  Mailheaders should not change. Mail should be displayed.

did your mail directory get changed? If you look under mail account settings,
under server settings for your pop server, there's a directory/folder path
specified. I suspect it's been corrupted - if you search your file system on the
mac, do you have more than one INBOX?

My other inbox that is much smaller (only 7 messages instead of about 250) and
seem not to be corrupted.
Is there any option to keep my mails? Or do I need to delete the whole mail box
and create a new account?

I'm a little confused exactly about what's going on. You could try deleting the
Inbox.msf file and see if the subjects come back.  did the mail directory get
changed? If so, that's the bug, and we don't really have a way around it other
than you just changing it back to what it was before. You may need to make
copies of the folders by hand and move messages manually.

Thanks a lot! Deleting and re-building the Inbox.msf was the solution ...
although  I got two "new" mails that were infact very old ones I already
received and read. Now I have them twice, but at least everything else is fine.
