1387138 - Active tab receives delayed font bold weight with fuzzy text

OS: OSX 10.12.4

Steps to reproduce:

Have two tabs open, switch between them

Expected results:

The active tab back ground colour changes as the tab becomes active in a fast amount of time

Actual results:

The active tab background colour changes as the tab becomes active, and then a visually perceive amount of time later, the font weight changes to become bold and the previously active tab becomes unbold.  The bolt weight looks blurry on my screen, which is a 30" widescreen Dell monitor connected to my 15" MacBook Pro.  I have attached a screenshot.

I've noticed this only happens for tabs with a title that causes overflow (titles that don't overflow look fine).
