1387451 - view pocket list item in bookmark menu is not hidden when I remove pocket icon from location bar

on 57.0a1 (2017-08-04) (64-bit) with clean profile on macOS

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. open https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ to make pocket icon in location bar visible
  2. secondary click on pocket icon in location bar
  3. click "Remove from Address Bar"
  4. open "Bookmarks" menu in the menu at the top of the screen

Actual result:
  "View Pocket List" item is shown

Expected result:
  "View Pocket List" item is hidden

the item was hidden with previous toolbar, when I remove pocket toolbar icon.

We don't intend to have pocket work like this anymore - the UI you mention in comment #0 doesn't remove the entry from the main page action panel, so we can't really assume that people who do this never want to use pocket. On the flip side, we've just removed it from these menus permanently (bug 1401238, not yet in nightly). If you don't want any pocket integration, you can flip the pref in about:config.
