:: Developer Documentation Request Request Type: Correction Gecko Version: unspecified Technical Contact: :: Details This page mentions using the maxlength attribute for validation, but omits the minlength attribute. A web search told me that minlength is only valid for HTML 5 while, apparently, maxlength existed before that. Perhaps that restriction should be mentioned, but minlength is immensely useful - think password length or minimum length of some kinds of descriptions or error messages. I think this page should include it.
Seems to have been fixed: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn/HTML/Forms/Form_validation$compare?to=1310417&from=1295765
