I'm running today's nightly on macOS el capitan ( personal laptop ): 10.11.6 (15G1510)

STR:

1. open nightly, go to AMO and install a lightweight theme 

2. open display preferences, de-select "Default display" and set it to the setting between "default" and "more space"

ER: the lightweight should still be applied to the whole UI

AR: the top left corner of the browser window is weirdly light grey, see attached screenshot.

( to fix this, toggle to full screen and then back )
