Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417
BuildID: 2002041711

In the Preferences dialog box, clicking in the left pane tree view has no
effect. This has happened after updating from Mozilla 0.9.9 to Mozilla 1.0RC1

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgraded from Mozilla 0.9.9 to Mozilla 1.0RC1
2. Click Edit -> Preferences
3. Click on left-side tree view to change what is display in right pane (no effect)

Actual Results: No effect. I am able to close the preferences dialog box by
clicking or pressing [ENTER]

Expected Results: allowed me to navigate through preferences

I only started experiencing this problem after upgrading from Mozilla 0.9.9 to
Mozilla 1.0RC1. I assume that most other people are not experiencing this problem.
Reporter:

Please try this:
Uninstall mozilla, delete all files in c:\programs\mozillas.org that are not
deleted (but save your plugins folder !) and reinstall mozilla.
Also try a new profile.
Thanks for your answer (via mail)

This is a known installer problem.
