User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/60.0.3112.90 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Tried to send email with attachments linked to BOX
Actual results:
Every time I try I get error message saying failed to upload the attached file to BOX. I notice on the internet that many users of Thunderbird appear to have the identical problem.
Appears it is possibly related to an update. My version is 52.2.1 (32-bit)
Expected results:
The attachments should upload to box and a link be created that is shown in the email for the recipient to download the files.
It always used to work perfectly well but has now ceased to function.

Works for me, I've just uploaded a file to Box.com and the link got placed into my e-mail.
Maybe something wrong with your setup/account?
I was trying TB 52.2.1.

I tried it on another laptop that got version 52.2.1 at approx the same time and got same result of "link failed".
I removed the BOX link through Options menu and then added it back. It then seemed to work OK. Perhaps it is something in the update process that somehow breaks the link? I don't know.

Thanks for letting us know, glad it's working. Sadly we can't chase the issue here.
