This aims to add: ./mach try fuzzy --query foo Instead of entering the selection interface, this would simply schedule any tasks that fuzzy match 'foo'. It's the equivalent of entering the interface, then typing: foo<ctrl-a><enter> The main benefit here is that you can find previous queries in your shell history without needing to go into the interface every time. In the future I'd also like to support --preset and --save like the syntax selector has, but I'll leave that for another bug.
