From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041711 Start Mozilla, inc. the mail client. Then close the mail client. Then send yourself an email from a different account. Observe that no new mail notification happens. As soon as the mail client has been restarted new mail notification arrives. I was getting my notifications in 0.9.9 as long as I started mail client once in the session (even though I might have closed it afterwards) Keeping the mail client open all the time is a workaround, but not a very nice one. After all, the reason I use Mozilla mail is, that I don't need a new program running. Keeping mail client constantly open defeats that purpose Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.As above 2. 3.
