Steps to reproduce:

Open Bug 1388628 and Bug 1163440 in the browser


Actual results:

The platform fields (OS and Hardware) are sometimes not shown in the bug page, for example in bug 1388628. In bug 1163440 they are shown.


Expected results:

The Platform fields should be shown, and it is unclear what are their values.
(If this is your bug, then you can edit it to show them, but you can't do that for bugs that were not reported by you.)

From some tries I guess that they are not shown both when they are Unspecified, or when the OS and Hardware are both "All", so the user can't distinguish between the cases. 
Therefore they should be shown in more cases. 
My personal preference is to show them in all cases, because when they are hidden it is confusing and the user doesn't know what is the value, and has to guess in what cases they are hidden. 

But if their hiding was on purpose to not show the fields when they don't contain material information (when the bug is not platform specific), then the fields should are least be shown in one more case of the two cases in which the fields are not shown.

Default behavior is not to show fields that aren't moved from defaults. Moving this to an enhancement request.
