Something regressed bug 1185482, and now the window buttons (minimize, restore and close) vary their position in weird ways.
1. Maximize current window if it isn't
2. Open a new window (Ctrl+N)
3. Hover the close button: it has some space below
4. Restore the window
5. Maximize the window
6. The buttons increased their height and now there is only 1px empty below
7. Go to customize
8. Set Density to Touch
9. Now there is a bigger gap

This was likely fixed by bug 1375335 if you want to wait a couple of hours for the next Nightly.
