Expected:

actual:

there is something wrong, see the attached video.

I don't use this menu very often so I don't know when it regressed but I am sure the issue did not exist a few weeks ago so I set the regression keyword.
I think this is basically bug 1390753, which should be fixed in tomorrow's nightly by backing out my attempt to reduce nesting in the animation code. :-(
