Details
[Tracking Requested - why for this release]: STR: 1. Create a new profile with Firefox 56. (Currently beta). 2. Go to https://julienw.github.io/forms-extension/ and install v1.3.3. This is a legacy extension. Notice there is a new icon in the icon bar. 3. Once it's installed, quit Firefox. 4. Open Firefox with version v57 (currently Nightly). 5. The "Compatibility check" popup is displayed. 6. Firefox window opens. => Notice the icon disappeared. 7. Open about:addons => Notice the add-on has been disabled. KO 8. Force check updates for add-ons => Notice an update for the add-on has been found and installed: OK. This means the update mechanism is properly configured. Expected: the update is found and installed at step 5.

Note: this extension is unlisted and all files are outside of AMO.

The compat check step in section 5 is problematic and has a few problems. For 57 we are rewriting it in bug 1353194 to be simpler and also work properly.
