Only on Windows the box shadow on hover of the searchboxes of the main-, chat- and AB toolbars is not well or not visible. This is because I had to set a margin of -1px to let the toolbar buttons have a height of 24px.

I fixed this by adding a margin on the textboxes but removing it again on the parent. I also set the searchbox height to 26px like the URL-bar of FX is.

Comment on attachment 8898234 [details] [diff] [review] SearchShadow.patch Hmm, the drop shadow on the quickfilter search box was already OK without the patch, but the Gloda box has improved. The AB search box is a little smaller now and therefore the shadow is better visible, particularly below.

Yes, I'm thinking about to make the AB toolbar a bit taller. It looks a bit cramped now.
