User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Build ID: 20170814072924 Steps to reproduce: I'm properly connected to my firefox account on my computer (account already sync on my android). I tried to sync in order to get the new sites I added to my computer's personnal bookmark on my android. Actual results: The round arrows turned but it still says "last sync : 1 january" (we're in august). The bookmark is not updated on my android. I can't access to the tab "Sync" in the OPTIONS PANNEL. Bug report (last full report attached) says :"Sync.Service DEBUG Not syncing: login returned false." "Sync.ErrorHandler DEBUG Addons installed: 1" "Sync.ErrorHandler DEBUG - Adblock Plus, version 2.9.1, id {d10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d}" "browserwindow.syncui DEBUG loginFailed has sync state=error.login.reason.no_username" Expected results: Sync.

The desktop device doesn't seem to think it is connected to Sync. Does about:preferences#sync show you as being logged in? If so, you could try disconnecting then reconnecting that device.

It switches automatically to the Tab "general" if I click on "sync" in preferences, or, if I put "about:preferences#sync" in the address bar, it goes to the tab "Search" (about:preferences#search) and isnides alla windows are blank... I managed to sync after I changed my account's password on my android (cause I can't disconnect from my account on my computer, as I can't access "Sync") unistalled and reinstalled Firefox. But it happened again : no more sync possible, no more access to "Sync"...

Can you open the "browser console" (Ctrl+Shift+J), visiting about:preferences#sync, and see if any messages appear?

Those messages seem unrelated. Failing to open preferences seems really odd and I don't have any ideas :( You could maybe try deleting signedInUser.json from your profile directory, which should kick you out of sync and *might* let you log back in, or maybe https://support.mozilla.org/ might be able to help.

I can open preferences, all tabs (general, search etc...) but not sync. Thank you for your help Mark. I couldn't find the answer on support (I tried that before coming here) Anyone can help me...?

I seem to by synchonised now with my android but on on my computer, I still can't get access to Sync... weird...

Can you please try deleting the signedInUser.json file from your profile directory, then reconnect to Sync?

I have exactly the same problem. Deleting the signedInUser.json file didn't solve the problem. If earlier I could log in sync by https://accounts.firefox.com, after deleting this file it's only switches automatically to the Tab "general". When I restored the file I can log in, but after the round arrows turned it still says "last sync : 1 january". And after each try of sync about:sync-log create a new error report. Also, the browser may not save passwords and login's after exiting it, as if they were not there at all. And https://accounts.firefox.com/settings/clients shows that I have several identical accounts with different time of sync. Separating multiple and leaving one of them does not solve the problem of sync. So, I've noticed this since the beginning of the week. And didn't find any info on support to.
Summary: Connected to firefow account. Can't sync. → Connected to firefox account. Can't sync.
