Steps to reproduce:

my firefox had auto updated to version 55.0.2.

i even downloaded latest version(55.0.2) again and installed.(note: i didn't uninstall the existing installation in the fear of loosing my tab data)


Actual results:

tab bar is half hidden


Expected results:

tab bar shouldn't be half hidden

I was able to fix the bug by disabling tab group plugin(https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-groups-panorama/?src=search).

The regression can be avoided via the preferences for Tab Groups.  Specifically, disable the option to "Show the name of the active group".  When this is turned off, the tab bar doesn't reduce its height.

Seems like something the tab bar could prevent.
