The email window displays. The Stop light remains red indefinitely however the
message below says 'Document: Done' suggesting that the Stop light should not be
red.

I cannot select 'Inbox', 'Drafts', 'Trash' nor any other name/category of mail.

This inability renders Mail unusable.  

The Names directory info displays correctly but the Subject/Sender/etc window is
understandably blank (because no category could be selected nor defaulted, such
as a standard or default inbox).  The message window displays the ' Welcome to
Mozilla Mail & News ' page.

I suspect the directory/name selection algorithm is buggy because a similar
problem occurs in Preference selection inability as reported by me a few minutes
earlier.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Invoke mail 'Control 2' from Navigator/browser window.
2.Try to use mail 
3.

Actual Results:  As above.

Expected Results:  To be able to select categories, then subsequently display
messages from the category selected.

reporter, does the problem persist with a new profile and a newer Mozilla build?

WFM with Mozilla 1.5 on Win2000. Marking so.
