Hi Tennfan8,

Can you please retest this issue on latest Firefox release (55.0.2) using a new clean Firefox profile (https://goo.gl/iJqvLZ)?
Also could you please give us more information regarding the number of tabs which you have open and if possible please list some of the websites you are encoutering this on.
And finally please navigate to about:crashes and provide at least a few of the crash reports generated by Firefox.

Thank you,
Marius

And, are you suggesting that problem does not reproduce if a 4k monitor is not used?
if the monitor is 4k native and over 15% of the screen (maximized) has a video or animation on it, the browser will lag/drop frames. The memory leak occurred when I had the browser open for 18 hours straight and only one or two tabs are open. When I reduced my monitors resolution to 1080 the lag stopped but the memory leak continued. the browser also doesn't leave crash logs because the browser freezes and has to be closed with the task manager.

Can you check [1] to save your memory report and upload it?
Also if you are watching Youtube, can you choose 4k content via setting on a non-4k monitor to see if it has something to do with monitor?
