Steps to reproduce:

Opened two separate Firefox Windows.


Actual results:

2nd window won't close with Window "X" button or last Tab "X" button. Had to right click taskbar button to close window. Just happened with update to FF 55.0.2 both 32 and 64 bit.


Expected results:

Window should close when clicking "X" on window or last tab.

Please troubleshoot with Safe Mode. I have seen reports saying Tab Mix Plus is causing the issue.

I disabled Tab Mix Plus and that seemed to resolve the issue.

Looks like the issue has already been solved with the latest beta version which is waiting for review. I've just asked add-on reviewers to take a look. Let's keep this bug open until the fixed version is available to the public.

I've been using TabMix Plus pre-release "0.5.0.5pre 170827a1" and can confirm the problem has been resolved. I'm assuming you are referring to version 0.5.0.4 which I do not see as available at this time (still v0.5.0.3). In any case, I'm satisfied now.
