User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; CPU OS 10_3_3 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/603.3.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/10.0 Mobile/14G60 Safari/602.1 Steps to reproduce: Search in Google : "recette cornichons aigres-doux marmiton" Select the result corresponding to the marmiton.org website Let the page appear, wait 10-15s, move up and down Actual results: A blocking adware pop-up window appears, saying whatever stupid ad : "You won an iPhone" etc etc... No way to escape, you are forced to select the "OK" button Then you are redirected to another unwanted website ! Expected results: You should not be redirected to ANY other website, moreover without the possibility to use the "left arrow" to come back to your original navigation ! I tried to change Firefox parameters, no success I tried to modify Safari parameters in General Settings, no success I tried to delete Safari navigation history, no success I tried to desinstall then reinstall Firefox, no success So I opened this case to obtain support !
The same Google search using Safari on this iPad under iOS 10.3.3 gives access without any problem to this Marmiton website, no annoying pop-up window appears. Same test on a iPhone 6S+ with same versions of iOS and Firefox : no problem either... Therefore, the problem appears only with Firefox on my iPad : if an adware managed to get installed on iOS 10.3.3, why is it affecting only Firefox and not Safari ?!? Very strange, but at least Firefox should detect it and block it in order not to let it enter in action, like Safari (probably).
Hello, Now the same annoying adware problem is appearing with ALL searches I can make with Firefox and Google :-(
Try the following: * Menu -> Settings -> 'Block Pop-up Windows' -> Enabled * Menu -> Settings -> Clear Private Data -> 'Clear Private Data'

Sorry, I tried this again (already did before creating this ticket...) but still no success : the bloody adware remains in place :-( Any other clue, pliz ?
Hello, Apparently version 53 (5826) solved this problem : no more annoying Adware pop-ups after updating my iPad from v52 ! (and no other modification of any other parameter/ setting...) So now I can use again Firefox :-) Regards, Didier
