On Test Pilot, we'd like to Pontoon to commit to our new l10n branch instead of master[1]. 

Sounds like that's possible since Bug 1316273? Hopefully it's not more onerous than a config change - but let me know if it's non-trivial and we can figure something else out!

I would assign this to you, mostly because you'd be able to ensure that changing that on a live project doesn't break things, and automation works after the change.
