User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0
Build ID: 20170823100553

Steps to reproduce:

I've run into an issue lately where my Mac (10.12.6) crashes and restarts (typically the computer is sleeping and when I come back to it, I find that I need to login and all my applications are closed or in their default launch state).

When I go to start Nightly (I use the multi profile launcher) - I get an error message saying that Nightly is already running. See attached. However, Nightly is not appearing in my Dock.

Restarting my computer again fixes the issue.

I've also found that when I look at processes running, I have a few Firefox ones. See: https://gist.github.com/mkoidin/e68819616b0614b52eabf7fdd464d3df - if I kill "/Applications/FirefoxNightly.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox -foreground" I am also able to start Nightly again.

Actual results:

See above - Nightly does not appear to be closing properly when computer crashes.

Expected results:

Nightly should close properly and allow me to start it again normally.
