STR:
1. Install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/easy-youtube-video-download/
2. Go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjmgzLVuWLU (or any other youtube video page)
3. Use the add-ons' download widget to download the mp4 version of the video.

Expected result: the Firefox download button should appear and show me the progress of my download.

Actual result: the Firefox button does not appear. The file does download though.

I also got the same result with this add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloader-pure/
Verdi, if you use an earlier nightly, did these downloads create an entry in the downloads panel? If you download something normally, does the downloads button appear?

Paolo, any idea what's going on here?

Ok - I just tried this on a fresh profile with the latest nightly on windows 10 and I can't reproduce it. Maybe it had something to do with my forever old profile on my mac with more than one user logged in. WFM?

And after a restart it works on my mac.
OK, well, let's resolve as incomplete for now. We can reopen if/when we get a better idea of what exactly causes this, if anything...
