User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0
Build ID: 20170819205558

Steps to reproduce:

I just registered to Mozilla wiki through https://wiki.mozilla.org/Special:RequestAccount where a (legacy) reCaptcha appears in the bottom

Actual results:

The text above the reCaptcha probably refers to a legacy version of captcha.

Expected results:

The text should be updated, including the link.
Severity: normal → trivial
Agreed!

The current version of recaptcha displays two close-cropped pictures of text and/or numeric characters and asks user to "Type the text!.
The wiki text above the capture states "To protect the wiki against automated account creation, we kindly ask you to solve the simple sum below and enter the answer in the box (more info):"
The 'more info' is a link to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Special:Captcha/help which also needs a touch of updating (which I will do).

Just a sidenote: why not to use the new reCaptcha or the even newer Invisible reCapthca?

Update: the captcha has been replaced with "standard" reCaptcha, but the intro sentence is still wrong

I am not able to update the text above the new reCAPTCHA but will try and get it changed during the current mediawiki update process.

Actually ignore the above. I have found the appropriate place to make the change.

Diff https://wiki.mozilla.org/index.php?title=MediaWiki%3ACaptcha-createaccount&type=revision&diff=1227001&oldid=1227000 refers.
