I compared it between a Sept 17, 1999 10:am build of SeaMonkey and IE. 4.0. The only difference I see is the text fields are bigger on SeaMonkey. The font face used between I.E and SeaMonkey is not the same. The font face is set in the page using <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"> Another difference is that I.E. displays scrollbars in the empty listboxes while SeaMonkey does not. Steve, are we honoring the (font face) settings within the text fields? Reassigning to buster.
yep, we honor font face. sounds like a widget sizing problem and that's rod's area. The "scrolbars in empty list boxes" is a separate issue.

I tested this in IE 4.x and Nav 4.x, Nav and Mozilla are doing the right thing. Looking closely at the HTML, the font face is not being set on the text fields. Only on the labels that precede the textefields. So I am not sure exactly what the bug is, marking fixed.
