Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041711 The proxy port configuration is not remembered, oyu have to specify it everytime you start mozilla up. Other proxy protocols such as ftp, gopher... are remembered, http is the only one whose port appears blank (the ip is correct tough). In any case manual proxy configuration is unchecked and Direct connection to the Internet is selected in its place. It happens in 1.0. Didn't happen in 0.9.8, 0.9.9 or Netscape 6.2. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start it up behind a proxy 2.configure it and test it works through the proxy 3.stop it and start it up again and see it does not go through the proxy anymore Actual Results: it does not go through the proxy anymore, although it was correctly configured on the previous session Expected Results: keep the proxy config It is sharing the PC with a Netscape 6.2 version, wich work perflectly. It inherited the configuration from NS6.2, including the proxy config except for the HTTP proxy port: http: 192.168.40.50 - ftp: 192.168.40.50 3128 gopher: 192.168.40.50 3128 ... NOTE: the startup accelerator is switched off as it seemed to prevent some configuration changes be taken into account
reporter: did you have netscape 6.2 and mozilla using the same profile? that is not something you should do. can you reproduce this with a recent build of mozilla and a profile that hasn't been used by netscape? if so, please comment again with details. if not, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. thanks.
no response from reporter for >30 days, resolving WORKSFORME. reporter: if you can reproduce this bug with a recent build of mozilla (for example, 1.2), please reopen this bug and give details. thanks.
