From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 20020417 I saw some similar bug entries but not this exact one so I figured I'd submit it. The scroll wheel on Windows 2000 does not work. I've got this same build installed on a Mac OS-X and Windows XP machine and the scroll wheel works fine on both of those. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. View any Web page long enough to cause a scroll bar 2. attempt to use the scroll wheel on your mouse Actual Results: Nothing--I had to scroll using the scroll bar instead of the scroll wheel on my mouse. Expected Results: The window should have scrolled.
It was a compatibility problem with the Logitech mouse driver they have installed on the Windows 2000 machine. I had the "enhanced scrolling" turned on, which lets you scroll three lines at a time (in Word documents and such). WHen I turned off that option the Mozilla scrolling worked. Still, I think it should work as well even with enhanced scrolling turned on.
