Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Build ID: 20170817111628 Steps to reproduce: Mint 17.3 64Bit Updated to FF 55.0.2 Actual results: No sound in FF, due to it requiring PulseAudio. I CAN NOT USE PULSEAUDIO ON MY SYSTEM.... Why? Because it totally **** up recording high quality audio using my SAA7131 based TV tuner card. PulseAudio causes terrible latency and audio artefacts, where as using only ALSA works perfectly 100% of the time. I will not use the garbage that is PulseAudio, because... it doesn't **** work properly. Not rocket science and it absolutely is a very, very well known and documented issue with the software... Expected results: I expected sound to work in FF as it always has. Resolution? Now I use Chrome for everything online, I guess. Good job folks. Way to make assumptions.
