i can't get video output from a crash cart and ipmi console redirect isn't working either. looks like the host is toast and it is no longer under warranty. this host needs to be decommissioned.

Sebastian will decomm more slaves so I will add this one too on the list to have a single push. one question here Amy,if we want to decomm from Inventory we just need to change the status of "Allocated To" to Decommissioned,that's all?

No, it's not just changing the allocation. The decomm procedure from invtool deletes a bunch of DNS info, clears some inventory records, and sets the allocation.
