* Basic description of experiment: The share button in Firefox is extremely useful but most users don’t know it exists. In this study when a user copies the URL, we’ll pop a notification that tells them about the build in sharing features in Firefox.


*What are the branches of the study? 4 branches total. 2 unique Ui treatments and 2 different branches for how aggressive we are about the notification.


* What percentage of users do you want in each branch? 20% of EN* Beta 56 split evenly across all branches.

* What is your intended go live date and how long will the study run? Go Live 9/1 and expire 9/15

* What is the main effect you are looking for and what data will you use to make these decisions? We’re looking at increased usage hours, usage of the share button, and perceived utility of Firefox.

* Who is the owner of the data analysis for this study? Matt_G

* Who will have access to the data? S&I Team

* QA Status of your add-on: Green. All tests have passed for 56 and 55.

Sounds fine to me, not too risky of a change for users, though it is late in beta. 
While this specific UI is going away in 57, we could change the way we educate users about the feature in 57 based on these results.
