CLR 1.0.3705)
BuildID: 2002042209
When I receive my e-mail through Mozilla RC1 (Mail and Newsgroups), I cannot
view the messages at all. All I see is a blank white page where my e-mail
messages should be when I view my inbox. I cannot view my e-mail with
milestone 0.9.9 either. However, with Mozilla milestone 0.9.8 my e-mail shows
up every time.
Also, the compose button when pressed will not load up a blank message where I
can write and send an e-mail to somebody. This button has actually never
worked since Mozilla 0.9.8
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start up Mozilla
2.Go to Mail and Newsgroups
3.Seleect get new messages
Actual Results: Mozilla downloads my e-mail from the mail server and I cannot
see or view my e-mail messages.
Expected Results: After Mozilla downloads my e-mail I should be able to read
and print my e-mail messages.
The broken compose button may be related to the viewing e-mail messages
problem. Again, these features haven't worked since Mozilla 0.9.8.

Can you see the headers getting dowloaded or you see nothing in the thread-pane ?
When I connect to my mail server Mozilla downloads new e-mail messages I can
see on the status bar (at the bottom of the Mail and News windows) that have
been downloaded. However, when I look above in the window (thread-pane) I do
not see any messages at all.
This bug is rather strange. Mozilla milestone 0.9.9 and above have the same
type of problem with the Mail and News part of the program. The messages get
downloaded, but I cannot view them and cannot find where the messages are
being stored (if they even are).
I hope the Mozilla Team can track this bug down, because it has been a problem
for quite some time now. Most likely everybody (Mozilla Team) is busy
preparing for the release of 1.0.
Have you seen or duplicated this bug before? It would be nice to fix this
before the big release of 1.0, because this is a major feature that cannot be
broken for otherwise a perfectly good browser.
Thanks,
Max Annen

WinXP / 2002053012 / JRE 1.4.0-rc
WFM, also this bug was encountered using an old (3+ weeks) build of Mozilla, if
this bug persists using a current build, please get this bug reopened.
