I can't reproduce this in Firefox 55 or 57 on OS X using uBlock Origin 1.14.4. If it continues, have you tried filing a bug against uBlock origin tracker? I can't get step 3 to reproduce even after clicking all the buttons on "3rd party filters".

Make sure e10s should be disabled. I can still reproduce the issue. And the extension Author said this is Firefox BUG. see https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/issues/2967#issuecomment-328281135 And this problem is not only uBlock Origine but also AdBlocker Ultimate and Privacy Badger.

Given that non-e10s won't be supported for too much longer, setting appropriate priority.

(In reply to Andy McKay [:andym] from comment #6) > Given that non-e10s won't be supported for too much longer, setting > appropriate priority. I do not think so. Because e10s is always disabled by default if a11y tool(such as Japanese IME ATOK, Narrator, Screen keyboard) is used on windows.

That is changing soon. But either way that is off topic for bug 1365655.
