Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 Build ID: 20170831165232 [Affected versions]: Firefox 56.0b8 [Affected platforms]: Windows 10 x 64 Surface Pro 4, Ubuntu 16.04 x64, Mac OS X 10.12 [Steps to reproduce]: 1.Launch Firefox 56.0b8 with a new profile 2.Go to www.vimeo.com 3.Zoom in the page until 240% or more. [Expected result]: The animation video from the background continues to run. [Actual result]: The animation video from the background is stopped. [Notes]: 1.The issue is reproducible on Mac OS X 10.12 but only at zoom level 300%(normal and full screen mode too). 2.On Ubuntu 16.04 but at the zoom in 240% or more(only in normal mode).
Do we know if this is a regression from 55?
I cannot reproduce this on Debian with the latest m-c. The animation video does pause briefly while the page repaints at the higher zoom level, but then continues playing. In any case, since this concerns full-zoom it's not an APZ issue.
Component: Panning and Zooming → Layout
Tested on Ubuntu 16.04 x64 and could not reproduce it on Beta 56.0b9. Reproducible on Beta 50.0b9 and Beta 56.0b9 on Mac OS x 10.12. (please note that is reproducible only with ski video)
