User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Build ID: 20170824123605 Steps to reproduce: I tried Firefox 55.0.1 downloading the DEB manually, and later tried using the one that is in the repository of Mint, which installed Firefox 55.0.3. Exactly the same problem. Also tried different address like @gmail.com and @zoho.com as sync accounts. Actual results: Nothing, every time I have to open the browser, I have to synchronize again (login with my password); I have more than 50 mails of "New sign-in to Firefox". Expected results: Firefox should remember my synchronization data.

Thanks for the report. The logs show "Services.logins is undefined" so the Sync credentials aren't able to be saved - so each startup you will need to reauthenticate, as you are seeing. Sadly we don't really know what causes this. If possible, could you please open the browser console (ctrl+shift+j) after startup, and see if there are any relevant entries there? If not, https://wiki.mozilla.org/Toolkit:Password_Manager/Debugging describes how to see additional logging - once you flip those prefs, please restart as the relevant errors probably happen very early during startup. I'm resolving this as a dupe of bug 1295122 as that is where we are tracking this failure, but it would be great if you could still reply either here or in that bug, because we'd really like to better understand this relatively common issue. Thanks!
