Details

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 Build: 2002041711 The link http://whatsup.devoteam.com doesnt work. Sadly enough, it works on MSIE 6. The page loaded with MSIE and saved on disk works then fine in Mozilla. Sorry for the lack of clues, I have no idea.
The site use another domains certificate, and Mozilla alerts about this, but having OK'ed the alerts the URL ends up loading https://whatsup.devoteam.com/basesNotes/portail/portail.nsf/pages/accueil.htm Testing on XP, build 2002042006 from the 1.0 nightlies - WFM.
Reporter: Are you behind some kind of proxy? (bug 133949 may be related) Also: Have you installed PSM? You should get an alert the first time you try to go to a secure site if it isn't installed. To quicly see if it's there or not; open preferences and check the content under the twisty for "Privacy and Security" -> SSL
for me the link just times out. i am behind a proxy. i have a full install, Privacy and Security, SSL is there in my preferences dialog. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020424 Build ID: 2002042403
I dont know what PSM is. I'm behind a proxy without auth for http and https. Over https sites work properly. I'll try later at home without proxy. I got all preferences check under SSL menu. I never saw any kind of alert on this site. I can't reproduce your comment #1.
Mistake in previous comment : I meant " OTHER https site works properly" But not the one involved in the bug.
the page has a broken certificate - some users may even think stolen certificate. MSIE6 really doesn't warn?
wfm using build 2002042219 on Win2k.
WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020424 I will try again tomorow night build on NT
Depending on which type of proxy; If it isn't fully HTTP1.1 compatible, can you see if you get other results when setting HTTP in mozilla to 1.0? Now found under Advanced, Networking in preferences (it used to be under debugging)
I confirm the bug on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020424 behind a PROXY. Build ID: 2002042403 Seems to bug only behind a proxy. HTTP 1.0 option doesn't improve the result. I get a blank page, hanging on download with "Transfering data from whatsup.devoteam.fr" in the status bar.
