1398547 - Get Map button in Address book Contact Pane grayed out for existing and valid home addresses.

Steps to reproduce:

1. With my two installed SeaMonkeys (v2.48 in both updated Linux/Debian oldstable/Jessie v8 and 64-bit W7 HPE SP1 machines) with address books opened, I went to an existing contact with its valid home address.

2. I looked at its home section and noticed its "Get Map" button was gr(e/a)yed out.


Actual results:

I am unable to click on "Get Map" button to view the map since it was gr(a/e)yed out.


Expected results:

It should not be gr(a/e)yed out for me to view its home address map.

Work address was fine though.

I haven't a clue where to find "Get Map" button. Only visible with particular preference or add-on?

Rainer: It's in SeaMonkey's addressbook with a valid home address in a contact. I attached an example (edited out its private addres parts).

Effekt is REPRODUCIBLE with unzipped installer of  official en-US SeaMonkey 2.53a1 (NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0 Build 20170706013410  (Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit:

11. From email client Status Bar launch address book
12. In Personal Address Book click contact with complete and valid Home address 
    (street, city, countra, zip)
    » in Contact Pane I see a greyed [Get Map]

Hmm this was changed in Bug 531285.

Jorg, I looked briefly at the implementation and looks the same as in TB. Do you know of any issues with it?

In TB the button is active, I can chose between Google and OpenStreetMap and it even works :-)
