mail download from pop server stalls out - when interupted by another check for mail?

about 500 message on a pop server. get mail progress dialog spins for a while. then start to see receiveing message 1 of 500, 2, 3, 4,.... then I occationally stall out. In one case I stalled out at the 11th message. console log shows that maybe the download gets confuse by another check for mail thats running off a timer???? mailbox://chofmann@nsmail-2.mcom.c In ThreadPaneSelectionChange(). M12. Maybe related to folder locking?
Is it biff? Biff shouldn't run in the middle of downloading messages, right?

I can't reproduce this so I'll mark it as works for me and hopefully you guys can re-open it if you see it again =).
I'm marking verified. Have not gotten other reports on this same bug and many people are using POP now.
